I spent 8 months working on different cruise lines. Princess, Holland America and Carnival were the three that I went on. It all started with my interview in Orlando.
We went to a pirate themed dinner!
Even had my face painted. :)
A week later I had the job and a month later I was in London.
Steiner gave us all the emails of people who were starting training on the same day. I got in touch with Ashley, a barber who happened to live outside of Nashville, and we booked our flights together. We flew from Nashville to Toronto. Our layover was pretty long. There was about 500 people on our flight. Then we flew from Toronto straight to london... an 8 hour flight.. overnight.

These were some of the cigarettes in canada. Messed up, eh?
These were the first class seats on the airplane. I didn't get to sit in them, but they were pretty sweet!
This is London at 6am
London airport
Customs! ahhh. We had to wait for all 500 passangers to go through. It took forever.
I thought this was funny. Later I found a sign that said no cameras... oops!
Car ride to the good old YMCA.
I stayed at the YMCA for 3 weeks while training at the Steiner Academy in Watford, London. These are the faucets... gay right? You couldn't wash your hands without burning them or freezing them.
Roll call in the morning
Friends from all over!
The McDonalds right off the bus stop. FYI if you go to London bring your own ranch!!! They had no idea what it was. :/
We had to train for two straight weeks without any days off. That friday night we went out in Watford.
That Saturday we went sight seeing in London. We took "The Original Tour", which is a bus tour around London. My friend Suzie (Austrailia) and I both forgot to charge our cameras. So we didnt get too many pictures.
We we're going over London Bridge (don't worry, it's not falling down) looking at the Tower Bridge.
Double decker bus! I love sitting at the top in the front.
Buckingham Palace
We ended our bus tour in the middle of the Piccadilly Circus.
I bought my chuck taylors shirt from a store called Punky Fish. That store was hella cool.
After two weeks of training, I found out what ship I was going to. The Ruby Princess, which is the brand new princess ship. I spent another week "branding", which is where they teach you different treatments that the ship has.
